I am a cultural strategist, writer, and advisor with over a decade of international experience, specializing in the Middle East, the GCC, and North Africa. My work sits at the intersection of cultural policy, institutions, and public engagement, and I have advised museums, cultural institutions, and consultancies on projects across the region and internationally.

I’ve lived and worked in the region since 2012, long before today’s cultural boom, when Saudi Arabia did not yet have a Ministry of Culture, when Doha’s art ecosystem was still finding its footing, and when much of the Gulf’s cultural work happened quietly, behind the scenes. Having worked closely with both local actors and international institutions, I often operate as a bridge; helping global organizations navigate regional contexts with nuance, care, and historical awareness. My approach is shaped by proximity rather than distance: grounded in lived experience, long-term relationships, and an understanding of what often goes unsaid.
